CHAM is a small gallery about the fashion of Hmong ethnicity and their indigo dye. Along with the gallery was a workshop which provided a place for young people to experience indigo dye and learn more about Hmong culture. In the end through CHAM, I aim to make youngsters appreciate the rich culture of Vietnam and inspire them to learn more about our country’s heritage.

This trip is a part of my primary research about the Indigo dye of Hmong ethnic and Hmong culture. I was taught how to harvest the indigo tree, and how to create a quality indigo mixture to dye clothing.
